   Let us assume we have this position:
   The Moon in Taurus, Venus in Aquarius (or Scorpio, or Aries). Venus has no essential dignity, so it is peregrine (-5)(or exile, or in aversion) . Theory says that a planet with no dignity can not receive.
   Yet the Moon is in its exaltation. The question is: If the Lord of the Zoidia can not receive the Planet in its Dignity, should the affairs promissed by that Planet be considered as if they will not come to pass?
   What hellenistic texts deal with this issue?

   Who says that a planet with no dignity cannot receive?

   I think that this is mainly an issue from a Medieval perspective, because the conceptualization of the conditions for "reception" were not quite the same in the Hellenistic tradition.

   Well, a strong supporter of the theory is Rob Hand and claims its hellenistic origins. I found it working in practice but leads to this paradoxical situation we find above. So, any ideas?
